Low-temperature Wet Rendering is a recycling technology for processing animal by-products.The process operates below 100°C under slightly positive pressure within a specific range. Saturated steam serves as the heat transfer medium;materials are treated by direct steam injection or indirect heating combined with mechanical separation.Centered on low-temperature wet hydrolysis, the process effectively separates fat from protein and bone fractions in raw materials,enabling the co-production of high-quality fat and low-fat bone residue meal.
Compared with the traditional high-temperature and high-pressure wet rendering process,the low-temperature wet rendering method features a significantly lower processing temperature.It greatly reduces thermal damage to materials and better preserves the nutritional value and functional properties of proteins.
